It is so amazing to see the entire Pataudi family together. It comes out as a royal picture as the Pataudi clan comes in one frame. It is rare but we got to see it recently when the Pataudi khandaan celebrated Sharmila Tagore's 75th birthday at Ranthambore. We got to see some really amazing pictures of the family having a good time together.
However, this family portrait feels incomplete without Mansoon Ali Khan Pataudi. Recently, some old pictures of the Pataudis started doing rounds on the net and we found some rare pictures. We also found that only picture where we see Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Sharmila Tagore, Kunal Khemmu, Saba Ali Khan and Mansoor Ali Khan in one frame.
This is the only picture of Kareena Kapoor Khan with father-in-law Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. The picture also has Sharmila Tagore, Saif Ali Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Saba Ali Khan, and Kunal Khemmu.
In an interview long back, Kareena Kapoor talked about her father-in-law. She said, "He was very warm and would not express his affection towards me. But I remember, once we all were in Pataudi (town) and he put his hand on my shoulder. It was a gesture of warmth and strength. It is something which will always remain with me."
Former captain of the Indian Cricket Team, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi got married to Bollywood diva Sharmila Tagore met at an after-match party in the year 1965. The two fell for each other instantly and after dating for a few years, they tied the knot in 1969. Seeing the cultural and religious differences in their marriage, many had predicted their marriage won't last but the two proved everybody wrong. The two gave relationship goals for real.

Even after their wedding, Sharmila Tagore continued to work in the film industry. Mansoor Ali Khan and Sharmila Tagore encouraged each other in their professional life. They were blessed with three children, Saif Ali Khan in 1970, Saba Ali Khan in 1976 and Soha Ali Khan in 1978.
Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi died in the year 2011 following a lung infection. On 30th November, Soha Ali Khan visited the Pataudi Palace along with Kunal Khemmu and daughter Inaaya Naumi Khemmu. She shared a picture of her father Mansoor Ali Khan's grave with daughter Inaaya and captioned it, "Wish you were here." The gravestone read, “Mohammad Mansoor Ali Khan, The Nawab of Pataudi 1941-2011 Love me when I am dead and do not let me die.”
