Kangana rode high on the success of her movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. Not only did the movie earn rave reviews but set the cash registers ringing at the box office as well. But the movie had sordid controversies surrounding it from the very beginning. Starting from Sonu Sood’s exit from the film to her issues with the director and then finally the war with Karni Sena, Kangana played with fire at every stage of the movie’s making and even after.

Shocking Affairs

Kangana’s love life could easily be the subject of a Bollywood blockbuster. From an ugly breakup with Aditya Pancholi which caused tension in his marital life and allegations of abuse and black magic by then-boyfriend Adhyayan Suman to allegations of harassment and cyber-stalking by Hrithik Roshan and a relationship with English doctor Nicholas Lafferty that was dubbed fictitious by the media, Kangana Ranaut has done it all.

Karan Johar is known for putting the guests in a spot on his show Koffee With Karan but his episode with Kangana Ranaut was the one where he was cornered. Kangana frankly spoke about how Karan snubbed her in the early days of her career and how much he encourages nepotism. Battle lines were drawn with many stars supporting the two sides and many people applauded Kangana for finally calling a spade a spade.

Fight With Journalist

Recently, Kangana Ranaut is making headlines for her spat with a PTI journalist. The actress accused the journalist of giving negative reviews to her previous movie, 'The Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi' and running a campaign against her. This promoted a backlash and journalists decided to boycott Kangana Ranaut.

The Paris Agreement

There was a time when Kangana Ranaut had claimed that she had been approached by celebrity Paris Hilton to be the Asia brand ambassador of her apparel brand. As news about this broke out, a spokesperson of Ms Hilton clarified that no such offer had ever been made. Miss Ranaut’s spokesperson begged to differ and said that the star had indeed been approached for an endorsement.

Apurva And Simran

National Award Winning filmmaker Apurva Asrani had a tiff with Kangana over writing credits of the crime comedy Simran. Apurva accused the director Hansal Mehta of introducing changes in the script without telling him and giving credit to Kangana for some ideas that were actually his. With the release of Manikarnika which Kangana has controversially co-directed with filmmaker Krish, Apurva again lashed out at the actor on Twitter:
