What Is Taraweeh Ki Dua?
During Ramadan, the Taraweeh prayer is said after the Isha prayer, which includes 20 rakats and after every 4 rakats. After this Taraweeh prayer is recited. In Islam, it is believed to be one of the best methods to connect with their creator. ‘Taraweeh’ is an Arabic word which means rest and relaxation. Although Taraweeh prayers are obligatory for both men and women, it is considered correct for women to recite Taraweeh consisting of 10 surahs of the Quran. Taraweeh is prayed in sets of 2 rakats at a time, with a break after every 4 rakats.
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Prayers at night are offered in two followed by two. Then, if you fear dawn will come, pray witr with one.” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
