The Subhadra Yojana will be launched for women in Odisha on September 17, 2024. The government scheme will majorly benefit the Anganwadi workers and helpers, Asha workers, and community resource persons. Toll-Free Number Issued In Odisha
Apart from the Subhadra Yojana, a toll-free number was also issued by the Women and Child Development Department, 14678. The number is meant to provide information about the scheme and will be operational from 6 am to 10 pm.
Subhadra Yojana For Women: Eligibility
- As per the issued guidelines, the benefits of the Subhadra Yojana For Women can be availed by Anganwadi workers and helpers, Asha workers and community resource persons. However, those who are already receiving a government benefit of ₹18,000 or more per year won't be able to apply for this scheme and avail of its benefits.
- However, the applicant must be a resident of the state and should already be getting food security benefits from the government (NFSA/SFSS). Still, women from families with less than ₹2.50 lakh income per year can also apply regardless.
- The applicant must be between 21 and 60 years of age.
Subhadra Yojana For Women: Where To Apply
- To apply for the scheme, the applicants will be required to provide and fulfil some requirements like Aadhaar Card, Mobile Number Linkage, and Bank Account details.
- The forms for this scheme are available free of cost at Anganwadi centres, Block offices, Mo Seva Kendras, and Jan Seva Kendras.
- After the applicants are done filling out the form, they are required to submit it at the nearby Mo Seva Kendra or Common Seva Kendra. (Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana)

Subhadra Yojana For Women: Benefits
- An approximate of ₹55, 825 crore has been made by the state government for this scheme.
- The eligible and approved applicants will receive ₹10,000 per year in the bank account in two instalments.
- The beneficiaries will receive one instalment on Raksha Bandhan (SHE-Box Portal) and the other on International Women’s Day (March 8).
