Ghazal Alagh

She is the Co-Founder and Chief Innovation Officer at Mamaearth which is a leading natural and toxin-free skincare products brand. She founded the company with her husband Varun Alagh.

The couple has a son named Agastya Alagh and they are also expecting their second child. Ghazal Alagh charges INR 8 Lakh per episode as per a report by GetIndianews.com.

Namita Thapar

Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Namita Thapar is one of the most talked-about sharks on the show. Netizens have turned her reactions to pitches into funny memes. The entrepreneur has a turnover of reportedly around $870 million.

She is married to Vikas Thapar who is a businessman. The couple is parents to two sons - Vir and Jai Thapar. Namita Thapar reportedly charges INR 8 Lakh per episode.

Ashneer Grover

MD and Co-Founder of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover has quite a different reputation. He is quite blunt when it comes to his opinion on business pitches and doesn't really mince his words while sharing his opinion which is why he has also been trolled for being rude on the show many times.

According to the latest reports, the shark might get fired from the show because of fraud charges on his company. The brand has reportedly hired a new law firm for an investigation into the matter.

Vineeta Singh

She is the founder of Sugar Cosmetics which is one of the leading cosmetic brands in the country today. When she started her brand, she was also a new mom and juggled between work and motherhood through the initial phase.

Vineeta Singh is married to Kaushik Mukherjee and is a mother to two sons, Vikrant and Kaushik. She reportedly charges INR 5 Lakh per episode.

Peyush Bansal

He is the Founder and CEO of Lenskart which is an optical prescription eyewear retail chain. In the last week of the show, Peyush Bansal will be recreating the pitch he gave for his company in the year 2010. In one of the promos released by the channel, he can be seen asking for INR 1 Crore for 1 percent equity of the company.

His net worth as per a report by GQ India is INR 600 Crores. For the show, he reportedly charges INR 7 Lakh.

We will soon witness the finale week of the show. Recently, shark Aman Gupta spoke to a news channel about his experience on the show. He said, “If people are not inspired after watching this show, phir toh bas rehne hi do. When Shark Tank began, start-ups were not dinner table conversations. But now, even my father has started behaving like a shark where he is interested if someone talks to him about a new business idea.”

Shark Anupam Mittal in an interview with Indianexpress said, “Shark Tank had a huge impact given the social media attention it got. After KBC which is an intelligent show where people get to learn, the one intelligent show is Shark Tank which has the potential to change the mindset of people. Historically, we look at business and businessmen with a sceptical eye. That needs to change. If you want employment, you need to celebrate entrepreneurship and trust the business. This show has sparked the light that entrepreneurs should be celebrated. When we were kids, we used to play doctor-doctor, house-house, but now I am getting video of 8-year-olds playing Shark Tank. It’s a huge transformation.”
