Can anyone tell me what is wrong with Salman Khan? Why is he issuing these inappropriate statements for his lead heroines, one after the other? For all those who follow Khan's interview sessions closely know that he has the most bizarre answers. We know he tries to act really chill, likes to make it all casual but his answers leave us wondering why the star at all needs to make such comments?

Looks like more than his upcoming release, Bharat, people are waiting for all his promotional events. After all, he is making headlines with his statements at all these events.

Just when we were trying to get over his snide remarks on Priyanka Chopra for choosing her marriage over his "big budget movie", he gave us another sexist statement that's going to remain in public memory for a long time now. Don't Miss Salman Khan Asked Kiara Advani To Change Her First Name Because of Alia Bhatt

In a recent interview, Salman Khan was asked to suggest an alternate career for Katrina Kaif and guess what he said? The star was quoted as saying, “She should be married and produce children.” For obvious reasons, Salman's misogynistic remark didn't go well with Katrina and she prompted, “ He means what profession would I be in if I wasn’t an actor, like would I be a doctor or an engineer.”

And do you think Khan gave another answer to it? No, he said, “That too is a lot of work, yea.” We really wanted Katrina Kaif to react to his statement and give him a fitting reply.

It seems like 'bhai' is oblivious to the fact that a woman can be much more than a housewife and a child bearer. What's even more shocking is that Salman has been a witness to Katrina Kaif's struggle and subsequent success in the industry and a comment like this questions his understanding of a woman's capabilities. We wonder why he doesn't think of such answers while speaking about the male artists of the industry. Yes, let us tell you that when Salman was asked about an alternate profession for Shah Rukh Khan, he said he would do great in whatever he does. We never knew that one's success runs parallel to their gender rather than individual talent.

Salman's raped woman statement is still fresh on our minds. It can be recalled here that while promoting his movie Sultan, he was asked about his role in the movie where he was playing a wrestler and he said, "When I used to walk out of that ring, it used to be actually like a raped woman walking out." His statements speak loud about his insensitiveness.

What advice do we give? Salman Khan has a lot offans all around already, his movie will do good numbers anyway, why not stop giving interviews? If not, start giving statements which don't make you regret later. All we wish for Salman Khan is to realise how big a star he is and the fandom he commands deserves better statements which are more in sync with the modern and progressive society we are a part of.
