Rashmika Mandanna Slams Relentless Trolling She Has Had To Face As A Public Figure

In one of the latest posts on Instagram, Rashmika Mandanna opened up about trolls and fake narratives spreading on the internet. She wrote a long post calling out social media users for spreading negativity and said it all has been troubling her for the “last few days or weeks or months or maybe even years.”

In the post, Mandanna made it clear that she was only addressing issues that have been bothering her for quite some time now. She said she had been on the receiving end of a lot of hate since she has begun her journey as an actor. “Quite literally a punching bag for a lot of trolls and negativity out there,” she added.

She wrote that the life she chose for herself has a price to pay at every stage. The actor also confessed she might not be ‘everyone’s cup of tea’ and does not expect every person on the earth to love her.

However, she made it clear that whether people like her or not, they do not have the right to ‘spew negativity instead’. Recently, she has been a victim of trolling after she confessed that she had not watched Kantara.

‘It Is Heartbreaking And Demoralising’

Mandanna (outfit inspiration from Rahsmika Mandanna) said it was heartbreaking and demoralising for her to be ridiculed and mocked for things she had not said. She also shared that she had found interviewers turning things the actor had said against her. They have spread false narratives on the internet.

Mandanna finds all this to be harmful to her and the people she shares close relationships with, both inside and outside the film industry.

Mandanna Welcomes Constructive Criticism

The Goodbye actor cleared her stand and said that she welcomes constructive criticism. It pushes her forward and helps her improve her skills and become better at what she does.

“But what’s the vile negativity and hate,” she asked.

She also shared that for a long time her loved ones had asked her to ignore all this. However, she has found that it has only gotten worse. Therefore, she addressed this issue now, not to win an argument but because she did not want to feel closeted. The actor does not want to change as a human being because of the hate she has been receiving.
