Priyanka Chopra Completes 20 Years In The Industry, Posts A Throwback Video On Instagram

Priyanka Chopra, who started her journey in the entertainment industry back in 2000 by winning the Miss World title, completed 20 years of showbiz this year. She posted a video days back on Instagram, revealing her plan of celebrating this milestone. Priyanka asked her fans to join her in a "trip down memory lane”, as she’ll pick up her 20 most monumental moments and react to them. 

Sharing the video, Priyanka Chopra wrote: "It's time for a celebration... 2020 marks my 20 years in the entertainment industry! What! How did that even happen? You all have been by my side throughout this journey and your loyalty and support means the world to me! Join me as I take this trip down memory lane and celebrate #20in2020."

Today, Priyanka took to Instagram to react to her Miss India pageant footage. In this nostalgic and lovely video, Priyanka is seen reminiscing her good old days. She critiques her styles, praises her hair quality back then but in the end gives this phase the credit for being the starting point of her career.

Priyanka while recalling the question asked to her during the pageant said, “If you were God in the garden of Eden, who would you punish for the eternal sin? Adam, Eve or Satan?” 

Her reply then was: “I would punish Satan, the serpent because I believe that evil is instigated not created. Eve thought Satan was right. She believed him. Let us get a moral from this -- to decipher between good and bad without being biased.”

She took a moment to appreciate her ‘clever and profound’ answer back then. Priyanka also recalled how she had to give her board exams just a few days after the pageant.

PeeCee won the Miss India title in 2000 and has been unstoppable since then. She made her debut in Bollywood with the movie ‘The Hero: Love Story Of A Spy’ which hit the big screens in April 2003, followed by 'Andaaz', opposite Akshay Kumar and fellow beauty pageant winner & Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta, that released in May 2003. She shared her best debutant award with Lara Duttta for Andaaz. Her original debut movie was a Tamil film titled ‘Thamizhan’ which came in the year 2002.

From doing movies in Bollywood to doing movies in Hollywood, Priyanka became a global sensation in no time. Be it movies, web series, songs, commercials or photoshoots, Priyanka has mastered the art of being a perfectionist. She also released her original song ‘Exotic’ in the year 2012, in which she collaborated with Pitbull. The actress received dozens of awards for her performances and was also awarded with Padma Shri back in the year 2016. 

PeeCee married Nick Jonas in December 2018 with great pomp and show. The madly-in-love couple often take to Instagram to show their love for one another. 

Priyanka’s latest Bollywood movie ‘The Sky is Pink' came out in October 2019. She starred opposite Farhan Akhtar and the movie earned laurels for both their performances.
