The first solar eclipse phenomenon of 2024 which is set to occur on April 8, 2024 will not be visible from India. According to the reports of the space agency NASA, this eclipse will traverse North America, passing through the nations of Mexico, the United States and Canada. As per reports, Mexico is the first country to witness the solar eclipse along the Pacific coast around 11:07 am. Other than Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine will also experience the same at different times.
However, if you reside in Tennessee and Michigan, then also you will be able to view the total solar eclipse. Canada residents will also experience solar eclipse in the regions of Southern Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Cape Breton.
Best Place To View Solar Eclipse
Texas is going to witness the total eclipse in the best possible way and thus is the best place to observe a total solar eclipse. Some parts of Texas, including Nazas and Radar Base will experience up to 4 minutes and 28 seconds of totality.

Why is the Total Solar Eclipse Special?
Total solar eclipses (first lunar eclipse of 2024) are rare occurrences. The last appearance of the same was in the United States in 2017. However, the 2024 solar eclipse will last longer and will have a wider path of totality. Moreover, it will be visible in more major cities than the last one that took place in 2017.
