Not Farah Khan, Salman Khan Will Continue To Host Bigg Boss 13

Salman Khan has been hosting Bigg Boss for almost a decade now and has been closely associated with it. But recently, there were rumours that the Dabangg 3 star might be quitting the reality show due to health reasons and a hectic schedule.

But on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode on 14th December 2019, Salman Khan called Sidharth Shukla and confirmed that he will be continuing as a host in the show. He said, “BB has extended the show for another 5 weeks and decreased my price."

Earlier, reports claimed that Salman was facing some health issues, and his family is concerned for him and advised him to leave the show. "Salman has recovered from a health issue called Trigeminal Neuralgia, which doesn't allow him to get very angry as it will disturb his nerves. But every week, one or the other participant is getting on to his nerves, which is not good for Salman's health. Hence, this is certainly the last season of the show that he will be hosting," a source told a media portal.

In a recent interview with a media portal, the Dabang actor agreed to the fact that Bigg Boss has become a part of him. However, he mentioned that there is a part of him that wants to cut it out and throw it away and another part of him wants to continue. "A part of mine wants to cut that part and throw it out and the other part wants to keep it. And the latter is haavi (dominating) on the part that wants to throw it out," Salman Khan said.

Furthermore, he also expressed that hosting 10 of the 13 seasons of the show has been a learning experience for him. "It gets stressful, but I learn a lot. I get to know where the country is going, what is happening to values, morals, scruples, and principles. We see it right there, with celebrities. The beauty is once they are out of the house they are not like that at all. It's not as if they are giving performances, the house makes them like that," he said.

Coming back to the show, though Salman announced it earlier on Saturday that it wasMadhurima Tuliwho got the least number of votes, he, however, cleared this on Sunday night when he announced that Vikas Phatak aka Hindustani Bhau has been evicted.
