In 1985, Microsoft launched Windows 1.0, which made computers much easier to use. This was a turning point. Over the years, Microsoft kept improving Windows, and it became the most used operating system in the world.
Microsoft Office was launched in 1989. It included Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, which are still widely used today in homes, schools, and offices.
In the 1990s, Microsoft joined the internet world and introduced Internet Explorer. They also expanded their business by creating server software and business tools.
Microsoft entered the gaming world in 2001 with the launch of Xbox. It was a big hit and became one of the leading gaming consoles worldwide.
