Papa Kehte Hain Girl Mayoori Kango who shot to fame with the song Ghar Se Nikalte Hi has joined Google India as industry head - agency business. While she went underground after leaving Bollywood very few people knew that she had chosen to get married and had forayed into the corporate world by working as an associate media manager for a US-based digital agency called 360i. After moving to New York post marriage, Mayoori got an MBA in marketing and finance from Baruch College. Before her appointment in Google, she was working as the Managing Director of Performics, a marketing and advertising company in Gurgaon where she stays now. But her Bollywood to corporate story isn’t unique. Here are a few other actresses who have switched from a Bollywood career to not-so-glamorous jobs.

Anu Agarwal

Remember the original Aashiqui girl Anu Agarwal? Well, after meeting with an accident and going into a coma, Anu’s life had a 180-degree turn. She says that she quit glamour in search of truth and practices yoga. She also works as a motivational speaker who has spoken at TedEx events, has been an amateur power-lifter competing in several competitions, written her autobiography called Anusual and has also completed a certificate course in Naturopathy from Europe.

Aashka Goradia

This popular TV actor shot to stardom with her role in the hit serial Kkusum. After appearing in several soaps and reality shows, Aashka married a businessman Brent Goble in 2017 and not much was heard about her after that. But as her Instagram feed shows, Aashka has become an entrepreneur now and is now the face behind the fake eyelash brand Renee.

Dipannita Sharma

Indian Supermodel and former actress Dipannita Sharma, who was seen in movies such as Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, 16 December, and Jodi Breakers is right now totally away from the limelight. So what is she up to? Well, Dipannita is now into the business of Yacht Chartering together with husband Dilsher Singh Atwal. Basically, her company provides luxurious yachts for private parties, corporate events, and social gatherings. The yacht she owns is called Shazma.

Most of us remember Somy Ali as the actress who had dated Salman Khan and starred in movies such as Anth, Krishan Avatar, Aao Pyar Karein and more. She now lives in Florida, USA where she runs a non-profit organisation called No More Tears which helps domestic violence and rape victims.

She was quite a controversial figure in Bollywood at the peak of her career but then disappeared without a trace.
