Mahesh Babu's SSMB 28 To Release On 16th Anniversary Of His Telugu Hit Pokiri

April 28 holds a special importance in the life of Mahesh Babu and for his fans. Mahesh Babu's career-defining hit Pokiri had its theatrical release on April 28 in 2006. Next year, the same day will see the release of Mahesh Babu's 28th film.

The film's release date has been revealed as April 28, 2023 by the #SSMB28 producers. #SSMB28 is promoted as a fun action movie. Scriptwriter Trivikram Srinivas, who is reportedly wrapping it up now, combined comedy and romance in the first half and added action in the second. This is Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde’s second collaboration. It is produced by Haarika & Hassine Creations.

The first film that Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas collaborated on was Athadu (2005), and it was a box office sensation. Trisha, Sonu Sood, Nassar, and Rahul Dev appeared in the action movie. Later, the super star and the “wizard of words” reunited for the underwhelming film Khaleja (2010). It will be interesting to see if SSMB 28 turns out to be a memorable experience. It features Pooja Hegde as the female lead; Maharshi was their first collaboration (2019).
