Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar who will be recreating the song ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani’ in the film Sooryavanshi, saw the former post a series of BTS (behind the scene) pictures on her social media feed. Named the ‘towel series’, Katrina first posed with her co-star Akshay Kumar where both of them were seen draped in white towels. The 35-year-old actress then shared a photo with choreographer, filmmaker Farah Khan in a similar fashion and also posted a photo in social with the Sooryavanshi director Rohit Shetty.
Katrina Kaif kick-started the ‘towel series’ a few days back with a picture, posing with none other than Akshay Kumar where she can be seen all in white sporting a towel on her wet hair alongside Akshay Kumar who looked dapper in black. Katrina Kaif then shared a picture with Farah Khan which she captioned “Me and mummmmyyyyy together after soooooooo long love u the bestest best”. In the picture on which Farah Khan commented, “My kat is the best! No nakhras n fully mad”, the two can be seen sporting the white towels and wet hair. Katrina in this image too looked stunning and her flawless skin was radiating with pure joy.

The third and the latest image, which is likely to be the final image from the ‘towel series’ shows Katrina Kaif, with a white towel draped around her while Rohit Shetty can be seen dressed in casual off-white with his hands folded around each other. Katrina and Akshay are busy filming for the remix version of a popular track from 1994 Akshay Kumar and Raveen Tandon starrer Mohra, Tip Tip Barsa Paani.
Akshay Kumar has reportedly bought the rights of the song from Venus boss Ratan Jain recently. He took to Twitter to announce the news saying he would have been disappointed if some other actor would've recreated Tip Tip Barsa Paani. "I would've definitely been disappointed if any other actor would've recreated Tip Tip Barsa Paani, a song which has been synonymous with me and my career," he wrote.
In the fourth film of Rohit Shetty's cop drama universe, Sooryavanshi, Akshay Kumar is playing anti-terrorist squad officer Veer Sooryavanshi, a character that was introduced in the Ranveer Singh-starrer 2018 film ‘Simmba’. The film will hit the big screens on March 27, 2020.
This is, however, not the first time Katrina Kaif was seen in towel. Just a day after the 'Bharat' actress made her debut in Instagram, she posted a photo wrapped in nothing but just a white towel. The photo was clicked by Peruvian photographer Mario Testino’s Towel Series for his photoshoot. Katrina is the first Bollywood celebrity to be featured in Mario Testino's Towel Series.

Looking at these actresses, my mind just rushed to a famous song from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mere Khwabon Mei Jo Aaye where Kajol looked stunning dancing in towel.
In one of the scenes from Mani Ratnam film Guru, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan looked no less than amazing in towel. Her real and reel husband for the film also was seen in towel. Aishwarya was seen with a baby bump.

Talking about actors, the first name that comes to a person's mind is that of Ranbir Kapoor from the film Saawariya where the Kapoor scion draped in towel was danced on the song Jab Se Tere Naina and at one point he drops his towel.
Sushant Singh Rajput also was seen posing in towel and rose temperature on social media.
Shahid Kapoor too, all toned up, clicked his selfie in towel and posted the same on social media giving fodder to his fans.
