How To Please Lord Krishna: Janmashtami, Lord Krishna's birthday is just around the corner. Also known as Krishnashtami, the much-awaited Hindu festival will be celebrated on the 6th and 7th September this year. Interestingly, Janmashtami will be celebrated on two consecutive days this year as per our astro expert. 

Janmashtami will begin on the 6th of September at 03:37 pm and end on the 7th of September 2023 at 04:14 pm. Since the Ashtami Tithi is falling on two days this year and Lord Krishna was born during Ashtami Tithi, both the 6th and 7th will be celebrated. 

Lord Krishna is one of the most revered Hindu gods, he is believed to be the eighth incarnation or avatar of Lord Vishnu, no wonder his birthday is celebrated with utmost zeal across the world. It is said that having Lord Krishna's blessings can help one pass through any obstacle in life. 

We spoke to our astro expert Sonia Malik and asked her to share some remedies to please Lord Krishna and get his blessings. She said, "Lord Krishna is the Lord of love, and compassion. One of the easiest ways of pleasing Lord Krishna is giving up our bad qualities and moving towards the path of goodness where we don't hurt anyone."

"Lord Krishna can be pleased if you follow his principles. He gave many life changing lessons in the Bhagavad Gita and following them can help you get his blessings," she added. 

Focus On Your Karma

Our astro expert shared that in the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna described Karma's importance. He said that one should do their duty, be detached from its outcome and enjoy the process of completing the work. During the Mahabharata, Lord Krishna could have killed all the Kauravas in one go with his 'Sudarshan Chakra' but he didn't because he wanted to teach everyone the importance of their Karma or duty. To get Lord Krishna's blessings, be true to your work, and don't get driven by the result it gives you.

Control Your Anger

According to Lord Krishna, anger is the key cause behind one's failure in life. It is one of the gates to hell other than lust and greed. Lord Krishna believes that anger fogs one's mind and destroys the intellect. Thus, keep your mind at peace and control your anger to please Lord Krishna.
