Banana Peels Fertiliser
Banana peels are rich in potassium, an essential nutrient that helps plants develop strong roots, flowers, and fruits. They also contain calcium and magnesium, which support overall plant health and aid in nutrient uptake. By recycling banana peels, you not only reduce waste but also provide your plants with a cost-effective, natural fertiliser.
Method 1:
i) Save your banana peels after eating the fruit.
ii) Then place the peels in a jar or container and cover them with water. Let them soak for 24 to 48 hours.
iii) After soaking, strain the liquid into a watering can.
iv) Use the banana peel water to water your plants, providing them with a nutrient-rich boost, as per a report by Urban Plant Life.

Method 2:
i) First, dry the banana peels completely under the sun.
ii) Once dried, grind the peels into a fine powder using a blender.

Method 3:
i) First chop the banana peels or as it is into smaller pieces to speed up decomposition or you can even use it as it is.
