  • Regular cleaning also helps maintain the appearance of the gadget, making it look new and comfortable to wear.
  • As you clean the speakers and microphones regularly, you get a good clear sound quality.
  • With regular cleaning, you also protect yourself from ear infections that might occur if you don't clean your earbuds of the accumulated moisture and dirt.
  • If you ever plan to sell or upgrade your earbuds in exchange then having a clean pair of AirPods will always help you get a good resale value.

How To Clean Your Airpods?

You Will Need:

  • Soft, microfibre cloth
  • Cotton pads or Q-tips
  • Distilled Water
  • Small brush
  • Toothpick
  • Cleaning spray/Isopropyl alcohol spray
Directions:
  • Begin with gently wiping the outer surface of the ear buds, and the charging case with a soft cloth. Remove any dirt and oils.
  • If you see dust accumulated in the joints, use a damp cotton pad to clean the edges. Make sure the moisture doesn't get into the openings.
  • Next, using a soft brush, gently clean the speaker and microphone ports. Spritz some cleaning spray on a cotton pad and use it to remove any dirt stuck around the speaker. Make sure you don't apply a lot of pressure around this area or the liquid might enter the openings.
