Kasautii Zindagii Kay: After Hina Khan Quits, This Actress Is Making A Comeback As Komolika

Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is one of the most popular shows on television these days. Ekta Kapoor's show is gaining a lot of popularity because of its actors Erica and Parth. And yes, let's not forget to thank the vamp, 'Komolika' played by Hina Khan who took the TRP of the show to another level.

For all those who watch the show religiously know that Hina Khan was missing from the show for a long time due to her prior commitments and we all were waiting for her to come back. However, there is bad news for all 'Komolika' fans.

Hina Khan is not coming back to the show now. Ekta Kapoor confirmed the news with a post on her Instagram handle. She posted the promo of the show that introduced Hina as Komolika on the show.She captioned the video, "Will miss uuuu komo @realhinakhan uve been awwwwwwsome ..will do something BIG SOOON. ab komo Kaun??????😎🤫🤫🤫🤫credit: @ektaravikapoor... In an interview, she also confirmed that Hina Khan will not come back on the show as she is busy with some other work. The news surely broke many hearts but we all have been thinking who will replace her on the show.

Well, a lot of names were doing rounds all this while but now we have a confirmed name!

Aamna Sharif will be playing Komolika on the show now. Aamna is a popular face and did a couple of hit shows before she went on a break a few years back. Aamna was last seen in the movie Ek Villain where she played the role of Ritesh Deshmukh's wife. Now she is coming back to the world of entertainment after 5 long years. She was on a break after she gave birth to her son, Arain.

In an interview, Aamna shared how challenging this role would be for her. She said, “When I was offered the role of Komolika, I instinctively knew that this is what will challenge me the most as an actor. It would have been easy to stay in my comfort zone and come back with a love story, but that wouldn’t have satiated me as an actor. It’s always a different kind of rush to surprise your audience.”

The viewers loved how Hina Khan portrayed the role of Komolika. Talking about portraying the character, Aamna said, “I haven’t seen the show and so, didn’t get a chance to see the way Hina portrayed it. But I have heard she was doing a commendable job. Urvashi Dholakia had played the character many years ago in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' in such a powerful way that Komolika became a cult figure.”

Well, if you are thinking if we will get to see Hina anytime soon on television then there are chances. Ekta Kapoor in an interview said, "Hina Khan is busy with her life and she is doing a couple of other things too, so we couldn't adjust her dates. It was an amicable decision. Hina is a thorough professional. We will definitely collaborate with her on some other projects- be it TV or digital or a film. She has been a revelation and this is not the end of our association."
