Among the youngest female rappers of Bollywood, Deane Sequeira was born in 1996. A multi-talented woman, Deane is a rapper, singer, lyricist, and composer. You must have heard her in the song 'Bezubaan' of the movie 'ABCD' which was blended with vocals of Mohit Chauhan. It was for sure a big hit. The talented girl hails from Goa and has worked with Indian artistes like Mika Singh and Suzanne Dmello.

She has also worked on the official mash-up of 'Luv U Soniyo' and recorded her first English original compositions at the age of 15. She is active in the live show circuit balancing it out with her studies in Mumbai.

Born in 1987, Sofia Ashraf hails from Chennai. A versatile Tamil rapper and singer, Sofia's music is more on the negligence of Industries, who fail to clear waste produced in manufacturing products. More than a decade back, Sofia came out with a track called 'Don’t Work For Dow', which was released under the guidance of O&M. The song criticised the failure of paying compensation to the victims of the 1984 Bhopal Gas disaster. Three years back in 2015, Sofia came out with 'Kodaikanal Won’t', which was composed on the beat similar to American artiste Nicki Minaj's 'Anaconda'. The music video highlighted the mercury pollution in Kodaikanal done by a thermometer factory owned by Unilever.

Ishita Kaur represents female desi rapper squad with the stage name Ish Kaur. The Delhi girl is also among the youngest Indian female rappers. She started her career when she was just 13 with an underground hip-hop group Gangster Soul. She has a lot of fans on social networking sites, including Youtube and Reverbnation. Ish Kaur raps a lot about teenage life, but her lyrics often shed light on the male dominant world.

Deepa Unnikrishnan, who is popularly known as Dee MC, belongs to the suburbs of Mumbai. She raps for a noble cause.Dee MC started her career in 2012 and now has become the part of Mumbai’s underground Hip Hop movement. Her music speaks about female empowerment, gender inequality and breaking social shackles for women. Her song 'Talk My Way' was nominated at Radio City 91.1 Freedom Awards in 2015. She is the only female rapper nominated to be nominated in the category.

Wife of rapper Manj Musik, Nindy is a British Indian rapper, lyricist, singer and music producer. She was born in the UK and started her career in 2004 with Bhangra kings Shezad Roy and Sukhbir. In 2009, the artiste joined the Indian Pop band RDB and made her first Bollywood debut with the song 'Aloo Chaat'. Her first debut album was launched in 2011 called 'Nindypendent'. She has also collaborated with rapper Raftaar and released two tracks 'Gal Mitro' and 'BBM' in 2012.

Who doesn't know her? She is the first female rapper of India. The British Indian rapper and hip hop singer; as well as playback singer and actress in Bollywood, recorded the song 'Ek Glassy', which was on the top in the UK. Then in 2007, she rapped for Sriram Raghavan's movie 'Johnny Gaddaar' and had people grooving to the track 'Paisa Phek (Move Your Body)'. Since then she has sung for movies like 'Ugly Aur Pagli', 'Singh Is Kinng, 'Kismat Konnection', 'Bachna Ae Haseeno', 'Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag', 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', and 'Prince'.

She has worked with composer Ram Sampath and Rajasthani folk singer Bhanvari Devi for Coke Studio India. In the song 'Katey' or 'Kathe' – Bhanvari Devi's part is a Rajasthani folk song which is dedicated to Lord Krishna (Saanwariyo) and the Rap is by Hard Kaur. Hard even composed a song during the time of elections, called 'Karle Tu Voting' to spread awareness about voting. She is also the artiste who composed a song for FIFA World Cup named 'Goal Mar Goal Mar'. The song describes fan frenzy and has been sung in Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali & South Indian languages too.
