The Ethnic style of interior décor is interesting and has lots of variety because of different culture, traditions, and history across the country. Use Wood Craft as wall hangings

You can look for traditional wooden craft items like chhataris, wooden photo frame, clocks and showpieces which you can use as wall hangings as these items adds a quick cultural essence to interior. Cover any wall opening or doors and windows with wooden frame with cornices and mouldings to get the perfect royal look.

Wooden cabinets, desks, chests, brass-like idols, statues and pots can be used as ethnic elements. You can also seek for large sizes of paintings of Gods and Goddess in a wooden frame in high glossy rich colors and hang them in place of high visibility or center of prominent wall.
Opt for traditional looking Furniture
The chairs used in the open space can be well designed by incorporating regional art and craft. Using ancient thread work or weaving for decorating the sofa seats in house can reflect a perfect cultural touch. One can also go for the famous Shekhawati of Jodhpur, Kashmiri wood carving, bamboo and cane styles as these are various furniture clusters you’ll come across when you probe the Indian furniture market.

While selecting items for ethnic home décor, try choosing for fabrics made of khadi dyed with natural coloring materials like indigo. You can also go for Gujarati style fabric art and Rajasthani artwork when it comes to cushions and curtains.

Decorative Cabinets
Cabinets are common but if you decorate them with a few traditional idols, aesthetics, or other brightly painted stones and metals, they can look ethnic. You can also place them alongside long-vacant walls to bring active buzz look to the empty space and use it as a space for holding antique items like Lanterns, Vases, candles holders and indoor plants.
Patterns On the wall
Patterns and motifs can be an integral part of your ethnic design. Examples of such patterns can be mandala art, motifs or nature-friendly themes like flowers, birds and animals. You can also use some patchworks on quilts, wallpapers and patterned flooring to get that cultural vibes.
Layer with Kashmiri Carpet

A Kashmiri carpet can add a sense of warmth to a stark room as it has a nature of converting the large, mostly empty space into an opulent chamber, while its flatweave still makes it a practical option for giving a vintage touch to your living rooms.
