Colourful, Wooden Work, Cosy: Interior Of Katrina Kaif's Mumbai House Is A Treat To The Eyes

Actress Katrina Kaif has had a beautiful career in Bollywood with many more decades to go. She is amongst the top actresses at the moment in India and is well known for her obsession with fitness. Amid this lockdown due to the pandemic coronavirus, all celebs have been taking to their Instagram and sharing what they have been upto. One of them is Katrina Kaif who shares fitness workouts and funny videos of her trying to wash dishes to brooming, videos with her sister and more. What caught our eye was the interior of her house in the backdrop. Done up beautifully, her house has a lot of woodwork with pastel paints and rustic look. So I managed to find some of them which highlighted different parts of the house from Katrina's Instagram (picture courtesy) and decided to share them with our readers who can take some inspiration from the decor of her abode. So here we go.

Located in Andheri West's Mourya House, Katrina Kaif's home is a reflection of her aesthetic taste. It gives you those vibes when you just want to take off from work, read a book while nestled in a cosy corner and sip on your favourite beverage, in my case green tea. The house has carved candle stands and white or offwhite walls in the background with teal green and green cupboards and a wooden ladder stand for the candles and her awards.

Her abode as nice wooden flooring in a light colour and as you walk in, you will find many mini mirrors. Some of her walls are also lightly washed wooden planks which have been decorated with beautiful artworks including what looks like a bust fabric framed and some more paintings. The colour combinations in the room prove that she likes it subtle but never forgets to make a statement here and there.

Her kitchen is also off white or cream which makes it look bigger and classier.

A part one of the bedrooms in the house, the TV is life size and why not but what you cannot skip is the cabinet below in wood with a rustic look. The other accessories you see on the table are all white and off white.

In the pic below which we saw half of in the yellow light looks so different in the daylight. The white truly gives it a breezy look with a brown cupboard on the left and not to miss the rustic sofa and stool.

Like many of us, this must be Katrina's fav place as well... just guessing.. reading a book in a cosy bathroom like that, who would not like it. Even the towel hook bar has an old feel to it, an antique finish many of us dig.

Another frame here where the artistically put together bird feeders are unmissable and so is the turquoise painted antique finish tables.

All the corners of the house are such that Katrina made sure can be used in all her photoshoots at home.
