Ghosty Teaser: Kajal Aggarwal Returns In Films After Maternity Break In A Cop Role

Kajal Aggarwal, the actor who predominantly works in Telugu, Tamil, and a few Hindi films, has returned to cinema after a maternity hiatus and that too in a double role. The teaser of the upcoming Telugu horror comedy drama film Ghosty was unveiled on Monday, October 31, 2022.

In the one minute 52 seconds teaser video, Yogi Babu’s character introduces the character of Aggarwal. The upcoming film features Aggarwal in dual roles where she is playing an actor as well as a cop. When Aggarwal’s role of an actor accidentally dies on a film set, she turns into a ghost and makes life hell for the other character of cop.

Prior to this, Aggarwal has played a double role in the high budgeted Telugu historical drama Magadheera starring Ram Charan Teja and directed by SS Rajamouli which garnered overwhelming critical acclamations. The actor was also recognised for her roles in films such as Maaveeran, Ganesh Just Ganesh, Arya 2, Darling, Naan Mahaan Alla, Mr. Perfect, among several others.

Aggarwal debuted in the film industry with the 2004 Hindi film Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... and debuted with the 2007 Telugu film Lakshmi Kalyanam. She gained popularity in Bollywood with the 2011 Hindi film Singham opposite Ajay Devgn, a remake of the Telugu film of the same title, and the 2013 Akshay Kumar starrer Special 26.

Aggarwal announced her marriage in October 2020 to Gautam Kitchlu and got married on October 30 of the same year in a private intimate wedding in her hometown Mumbai. Later, in 2021, she announced her pregnancy officially through social media. She gave birth to a baby boy, Neil, on April 19, 2022.
