Read on to know more details about this developing story.
Man Flies From Kuwait To Andhra Pradesh And Kills Minor Daughter's Alleged Sex Abuser
On December 7, 2024, an immigrant worker from Kuwait returned to his hometown in Annamayya district and brutally killed a 59-year-old physically disabled man, allegedly in response to claims that the man had molested his daughter. Anjaneya Prasad, 37, from Kothamangampeta village, along with his wife, Chandrakala, had moved to Kuwait for work, leaving their 12-year-old daughter in the care of Chandrakala's younger sister, Lakshmi, and her husband, Venkataramana.
The situation escalated when the girl confided in her mother about the alleged molestation by Gutta Anjaneyulu, Venkataramana’s father. Concerned for her daughter’s safety, Chandrakala promptly returned to the village, confronted her sister about the incident, and filed a complaint with the local police. In response, authorities issued a warning to Anjaneyulu.

He travelled back to the village on December 7, 2024, and attacked Anjaneyulu with an iron rod, resulting in the man’s death. Following the incident, Prasad immediately fled back to Kuwait, leaving behind a complex web of grief, anger, and legal implications in its wake.
The Father Confessed His Crime on Video
On the night of December 11, 2024, Anjaneya Prasad, the accused in the murder of Gutta Anjaneyulu, released a video message from Kuwait, claiming responsibility for the act and expressing his desire for justice for his daughter. In the video, he articulated his frustration with the local authorities, stating that he felt compelled to take violent action because the police had failed to respond adequately to the molestation complaint filed by his wife, Chandrakala.
Prasad's emotional appeal highlighted his anguish not only over his daughter’s alleged abuse but also over what he perceived as a lack of support and protection from law enforcement. He also mentioned his intention to surrender to the police, signalling a readiness to face the consequences of his actions.
