An elderly couple in Mumbai spread love and sheer magic on the streets as they strolled and danced to the tunes of RD Burman’s iconic rendition, ‘Rimjhim Gire Saawan’ and the internet has fallen in love with it. Business mogul Anand Mahindra has called it justifiably viral and rightfully so.
There truly has never been a Bollywood song which has captured the idea of the monsoon season better than RD Burman’s iconic song ‘Rimjhim Gire Saawan’ that featured in the yesteryear movie ‘Manzil’ that hit the silver screen in the year 1979. This song was picturised on B-town celebrities Amitabh Bachchan and Moushumi Chatterjee and was aptly filmed against the background of a rain drenched Mumbai.
This is justifiably going viral. An elderly couple re-enact the popular song 'Rimjhim gire sawan' at the very same locations in Mumbai as in the original film. I applaud them.
