The cafe has been going viral online for its extravagant drink - a tea served with 24-carat gold leaf, which is what makes it so unique and expensive and it costs Rs 1.14 Lakh (AED 5000).

In a video shared on their official Instagram, the tea is shown being served in silver cutlery, with a topping of gold dust and a gold leaf, and paired with a croissant that’s dusted with gold. Viewers were amazed by the sheer extravagance of it all - a tea that costs more than most fine dining meals in Dubai.

Gold Karak Chai: A Viral Sensation
Edible gold has been a symbol of luxury and wealth for centuries, often used in fine dining establishments, luxury hotels, and exclusive events. “For those seeking a royal experience, the Boho Cafe & Restaurant also serves the Gold Souvenir Karak Tea and Coffee at Rs 1.14 lakh each (UAE Dirham 5000)”, as per Deccan Herald report. The cafe's lavish menu features gold-dusted croissants, a gold burger, gold ice cream, and even gold water.
The cafe’s owner, Sucheta Sharma, told the Khaleej Times, “We wanted to make something exceptional for people seeking indulgence, while also catering to the larger community.”
