Prepare Amla Hair Dye In Coconut Shell
Colouring hair with natural ingredients is the best way to make your mane naturally black and healthy. Try making this simple hair dye recipe, using Indian gooseberry (amla) in a coconut shell. This will make the dye more nourishing and add more pigment to it.
Steps
- Cook dried amla in an iron pan on high flame.
- Roast for another 20 minutes until they turn black.
- Add a glass of water and cook for another 10 minutes.
- Once done, pour amla along with the water in a clean coconut shell and keep it untouched overnight.
- Next morning, pour it all in a grinder and blend to make a smooth paste. Don’t forget to scrape the coconut shell well while pouring to get all the nourishment.
- Apply on your hair, leave for 2-4 hours, and lastly wash with normal water.

- 2-meter electric wire
- 1 small zero power bulb
- 1 bulb holder
- Plyer
- Drilling machine or a screwdriver
Steps
- Start by cleaning your coconut shell. If it is uneven, file the edges with the sandpaper.
- Take a pencil and mark the area where you want to make small holes so that the light could pass.
- Also, make one hole exactly in the center to attach the bulb with the holder.
- Make holes with a drilling machine, or use a screwdriver.
- Once done, decorate the shell with paint, mirror, thread, or any other way you want.
- Place the bulb holder inside the shell, from the outside, attach the wire to the holder.
- Attach the bulb, test it, and then paste the second half of the shell together.
Store Hair Oil In Coconut Shell
Don’t we all want to use the most nourishing hair oils on our scalp! A healthy hair massage can turn your hair into voluminous, frizz-free locks. If are not into making homemade hair oils and only apply store-bought ones, this hack will help you to add nutrition to the oil.
Steps
- Generally we all massage scalp on weekends. So, on Friday night take half a cup of hair oil (not coconut oil) and pour in the shell.
- Cover it with a clean cotton cloth and leave overnight.
- Next morning, lightly heat your coconut shell on charcoal.
- Once the oil is warm, massage your scalp with it.
Make Eco-Friendly Plant Pot With Coconut Shell
We all must try to use fewer plastic products at our homes. While there are mud pots available for bigger plants, there are many, who have small plastic pots for miniature or table plants. Switch plastic pot with coconut shell, as it will look aesthetically better and make you a smart citizen.
Steps
- Start by cleaning your coconut shell. Take sandpaper and even out the edges and the body.
- Especially make the bottom of the shell even so that it can sit on the plain surface.
