Breathe: Into The Shadows Trailer Starring Abhishek Bachchan-Saiyami Kher Is Out

After two years, the Abhishek Bachchan starrer Amazon Prime Original series Breathe: Into the Shadows is set to return with its second season. The makers dropped its trailer today, on October 27, 2022 and the series is all set to premiere on November 9, 2022.

A little over two minutes, the trailer of the upcoming season features how unrepentant Avinash (Bachchan) returns from where he left off to complete the unfinished task of catching the remaining six victims. Kabir (Amit Sadh) will be seen going all out to catch hold of Avinash. The lead duo of the series, Bachchan and Sadh, along with Nithya Menen, Saiyami Kher, and Ivana Kaur have reprised their roles in the second season as well who will now be joined by Naveen Kasturia.

Directed and co-created by Mayank Sharma, who also helmed the previous season, the eight-episode original series is produced by Vikram Malhotra and Abundantia Entertainment. The crime drama series revolves around Dr Avinash Sabharwal whose six-year-old daughter Siya is kidnapped by a masked man. In order to rescue his daughter, Sabharwal has to kill a man and the series unfolds the lengths he will go to save his daughter.

Speaking about the upcoming season, Bachchan said, “The merciless chase which started in season 1 takes an even more ruthless path in season 2. This season will witness all characters evolve and get much deeper into the mess. The viewers have waited for two years for the sequel, and it is a delight to watch them anticipate what we have to offer.”

While Sadh said, “Breathe: Into the Shadows Season 2 is much bigger and complex. Since the very first installment, Breathe has become a huge part of my life. Taking the story forward from season 1 and continuing from where we left, it has been an experience.”

Director Mayank Sharma has also co-written the new season of Breathe: Into The Shadows with Arshad Syed, Vikram Tuli, Priya Saggi & Abhijeet Deshpande.
