On November 11, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released and impressed the audience. Whether it was cinematography or taking the story forward, the Marvel movie has everything on point.
It not only had us crying but also rooting for the new Black Panther. From the start to the end, it was an emotional ride without Chadwick Boseman but the storyline kept the viewers hooked to their seats.
Here are six reasons why you must watch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, if you haven’t. *Spoilers Ahead*
Women Ruling & Fighting

In phase four, we have been introduced to many new characters. Some of them are completely new, with a whole new story and powers, while others have been passed battalions to carry forward the plotline in this era.
Among so many female characters and films based on them, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is different. It has an all-women cast ruling a kingdom and fighting to save its people.
Ms Marvel, Black Widow, Hawkeye and She-Hulk among others still have to find their tribe or a place in a team where they can trust each other without a hint of doubt. But Shuri and women in Wakanda have it all.
Women Supporting Each Other

We all have seen the love-hate relationship between Iron Man and Captain America and The Hulk and Thor. But we have seen them all come together against Thanos, even the strange wizard, Dr Strange.
At some point in the storyline, female heroes fought each other and then stood together. In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, we get to see women going all out of their way to support each other. Though they are mourning the loss of their King T’Challa, they stood in unity for their kingdom.
Exploring Stages Of Grief

While Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is not the first film that showed its heroes dealing with a deep personal loss, it is certainly the first exploring various stages of grief.
In Wanda Vision, the Scarlet Witch was hurt, and at that moment, she decides to resurrect her love and create a whole new world to experience a happily ever after. In Dr Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, she tries to travel to alternate worlds in search of her children.
However, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever shows Shuri dealing with the loss of not only her brother but also her mother. She is shown in denial, anger, bargaining with Namor, depressed because no one person in her family was alive knows her and accepting her fate in the end.
The last stage of acceptance for Shuri was not easy but a crucial journey because she gets to meet T’Challa’s son.
Emotional Tribute To OG Black Panther

We all loved the OG Black Panther aka Chadwick Boseman, and it was hard to see a film in which he no longer was the T’Challa. The movie is a heartfelt tribute to him. From the start to the end, there was no point where he was not mentioned.
When Marvel Studios is introduced, this is the first time ever when except for Boseman, there was no other hero. At the end, when Shuri performs a ritual where mourning clothes are burnt, T’Challa’s clips were shown, and there could not be a better tribute to him than this film.

Bad Guy Had His Reasons

If anyone can make you sympathise with the villain, it is the MCU. Though Namor was the bad person in this film, his intentions were clear. He always prioritised his people and killed anyone who wanted to use vibranium.
He wanted to burn the world that had oppressed people and communities he belonged to. He had no mercy for the surface people who neither treated nature nor its beings with kindness.
The best part of the movie was the fight for vibranium. While Wakanda and Namor’s kingdoms use it for creating a better world, first-world countries wanted it to create lethal weapons. However, they always showcased that they were apprehensive of these kingdoms using the metal against them.

Appropriate Cultural Representations

People who have seen the movie are applauding for appropriate cultural representation. Not only did it have actual shots of African cities, but also showcased people belonging to other tribes and a glimpse of their attire, rituals and language.
When we say representation matters, it is also how we showcase the gender ratio. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever got that part right.
