Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput together make one of the best celebrity couples. As they have together completed five years of marriage, we thought why not reminisce their much talked about the wedding. It was quiet and unlike typical Punjabi weddings and was covered by all media houses and created a buzz. The wedding was held in a quiet ceremony on New Delhi's outskirts. It was attended by their close friends and family. Shahid, the son of veteran actor Pankaj Kapur and his former wife Neelima Azim, married Mira, who was then 21 years old, as per traditions of the Radha Soami sect. This sect is a philosophical organisation that is based on the spiritual teachings of all religions. Both the families are followers of the group.
Mira Rajput reportedly met Shahid for the first time at one of the events of the sect. Talking of her educational background, she did her bachelor’s in English from Delhi University’s Lady Shri Ram College.
Their wedding had just 40-50 guests. Shahid had worn a white sherwani and pyjama with a pink-hued turban for the wedding while Mira wore a green and pink ensemble with subtle makeup.
Shahid stayed at The Oberoi hotel in Gurugram and had arrived in New Delhi just a night before sangeet ceremony and his parents had come in a few days before to help and organise the functions and the wedding preparations. During the sangeet, Shahid and Mira danced just like us when we dance and it becomes like a competition between the boy and girl side.
Shahid danced with Mira on the hit song Saj Dhaj Ke, a number from his film Mausam. The video had also leaked and gone viral because otherwise the functions were heavily guarded.
After their wedding, the couple had lunch with their families and they also changed their attires. Mira looked pretty and classy in Navratna necklace and earrings set which had been teamed with a paasa and a maang tika. They posed for the paparazzi at Gurugram's Trident hotel in the afternoon.

In the pic below they signed the register and became a couple officially.
After the lunch, dinner was also hosted at the Oberoi which was followed by a grand reception in Mumbai on July 12, and the film industry lit up the wedding venue.
Now the couple has two kids, Misha & Zain and they truly have been giving couple goals to the Millenials.
