Bigg Boss 16 Daily Highlights: Sreejita, Shalin Bhanot, Shiv & Soundarya Fight Over Ration

After stopping the age-old norm of wake up song and introducing morning anthem in the house in the last episode, Bigg Boss once again defied yet another long-established convention of distributing a common batch of ration and groceries to all the contestants. This new rule kicked off some high-voltage drama and fights in the house in the latest episode that streamed on October 4, 2022.

Today’s episode of Bigg Boss began with a stand-up set by Sajid Khan where he described each contestant in a comical poetry way. The other contestants were asked to give him a thumbs up or down on the basis of his performance. The results gave rise to an argument between Khan and Shalin Bhanot and a new rule in the house.

Bigg Boss introduced a new rule where the ration will be distributed in four batches for the occupants of the four separate bedrooms. If the occupants of a particular bedroom fall short of a commodity, they will have to make do without it and they're forbidden from borrowing it from other housemates. This decree of Bigg Boss spurred squabbles over food. Bhanot took six packets of chicken because he has a medical condition that requires him to have an adequate amount of protein. Sreejita De and Gautam Vig were ruffled about having no chicken at all for themselves.

Apart from this, the housemates bicker over a single jar of coffee, as the coffee lovers have their eyes on the jar. The Bigg Boss took note that the captain of the house Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has an issue with one of the housemates and summoned her to the confession room to enquire about the same. She shared that she is upset with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, who sympathizes with Manya Singh, who is assigned to do all the household chores as part of the punishment for apologizing during the nomination drill. Ahluwalia also conveyed that she spotted Chahar advising Manya that she could cook in accordance with her comfort. Making a note of this, Bigg Boss gave her the power to relieve one contestant among Tina Datta, Singh, and Soundarya Sharma from the punishment and have Chahar join the punished trio instead. And Ahluwalia relieves Singh from the punishment.

During the ration distribution, Shiv Thakare and Soundarya also get into a tiff over tea and coffee while Abdu Rozik stole eggs and the audience’s hearts with his cuteness. Despite the drama, the adorable Rozik brings a fun vibe to the house by dipping into the pool and inviting all the contestants to join him.
