Even though Hina Khan didn't bag the Bigg Boss 11 trophy, she emerged as one of the most successful Bigg Boss contestants. From walking the Cannes red carpet to making Bollywood debut and working in song albums, the actress is riding high on success.
Recently, the actress made an appearance with Priyank Sharma, on Bigg Boss 13 show to promote her music album, Raanjhana, and got candid with Salman Khan.
While talking to Hina, Salman asked her about her favourite contestant and to this, Hina Khan said that somebody who is going to show each and every emotion of his/her but when Salman asked her to name a particular contestant, Hina took Asim Riaz’s name. However, this didn't go well with other contestant's fans and they started slamming Hina for her biased comment.
So, Hina Khan came forward to tell her side of the story and revealed that she took 4 contenders' names, but the channel retained only Asim's name and edited out rest 3 names.
In a live chat, the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actress clarified that she took Sidharth Shukla, Shehnaaz Gill, Paras Chhabra, and Asim Riaz name, and mentioned that the channel in the aired clip only kept Asim’s name and rest were edited out. She said, "I don't know why they showed me taking only Asism's name and even Salman and Priyank. I don't know what is going on in the channel's mind."
The actress further said, "It is a very well-edited show. Show ke liye jo jis light main work kar raha hai vo usses usi light main dikhayenge." Check out the video here:

The actress also spoke about the upset fans and said, "Don't spread hate, it is just a show. It is not necessary that you react to those who are trolling your favourite."
When Hina Khan entered the 'Bigg Boss' house as a part of the task, she lashed out at Paras Chhabra for calling Asim Riaz 'zero' and praised Asim that people outside are loving him.Asim's brother Umar Riaz too reacted on Hina's words of encouragement for the model and said, "Many celebrities have come in as guests, but none of them ever conveyed to Asim about his popularity outside the show. So, I am extremely thankful to Hina Khan for doing this. It was such a good gesture when Paras Chhabra called him Zero and she confronted him by saying that Asim has a huge fan following outside."
