Monday, April 1 - Sheetala Saptami
The Sheetala Saptami will be celebrated on the first day of the month and the tradition is to worship Sheetala Mata on this day. It is believed that if you perform the worship according to the rituals and customs, you and your family are blessed with good health during the summer season. The Shubh Muhurat for Sheetala Saptami 2024, will start at 9:40 pm on March 31, 2024, and end at 21:10 on April 1, 2024.
Friday, April 5 - Papmochani Ekadashi
Observing a fast and worshipping Lord Vishnu on the day of Papmochani Ekadashi is believed to remove all your sins, according to ancient scriptures. The Shubh Muhurat for Papmochani Ekadashi 2024, will stay from 1:08 pm on April 5, to 8:37 pm on April 6.
Tuesday, April 9 - Gudi Padwa, beginning of Chaitra Navratri
The festival of Chaitra Navratri is celebrated with great pomp in the Hindu religion. The nine forms of Goddess Durga are worshipped during this festival. Here is the list of days along with the name of the Goddess’ incarnation that are worshipped on each day during Navratri.
- April 9 - Ghatasthapana and worship of Goddess Shailputri.
- April 10 - Worship of Goddess Brahmacharini
- April 11 - Worship of Goddess Chandraghanta
