We know, we all have been there. But not anymore! Recently, Amazon launched a virtual reality app, ‘ModiFace’ in collaboration with L’Oreal. This app will give you the first virtual cosmetic try-on experience and will help you in deciding the right lip shade for you.

Now, you will be able to use the front-facing camera on your phones to digitally try on different shades of lipstick in a live video of yourself, or on a selfie.

The ModiFace technology automatically performs AR stimulation of each lipstick shade. It also analyzes textual and visual information of a particular makeup shade to realistically reproduce it via AR. As per UK based newspaper, Nicolas Le Bourgeois, Head of Amazon Beauty said, “With this new AI-powered virtual experience, Amazon customers can now conveniently try-on thousands of lipstick products, save photos on their devices to share with friends and ultimately purchase with greater confidence –wherever they are, whenever they want, with products delivered right to their doorstep. This launch is another important milestone in our vision to be the best possible place for customers to discover and buy beauty products online.”
