He is a legendary figure who travels on a flying sledge with the help of his reindeer. He enters your house through the chimney and leaves you gifts under the Christmas tree or inside stockings.

Santa Claus is a person who is known throughout the world for giving gifts to children on Christmas. He lives in the snow-covered mountains (Christmas In Mountains) of the North Pole. There, he spends most of his year reading letters from children and making gifts with the help of elves.

Santa Claus is nothing less than a myth and a legend. There is no right answer when it comes to stating whether or not Santa is real. However, we know for a fact that Santa Claus is inspired by none other than Saint Nicholas who is one of the religious leaders in Christianity. This is where his connection to Christmas comes into being.
The real existence or origin of Santa Claus can be traced back to when the Dutch made colonies. They used to call Saint Nick Sinterklaas by shortening his name. After the British set up their colonies in America, they took the legend with them. Sinterklaas soon became Santa Claus.

Where Did Santa Claus Come From?
Amidst all this, one must be in doubt thinking how the appearance of Santa was made wearing red and white ensembles, carrying a large bag full of gifts and flying on a sleigh pulled by reindeer. It was the brand Coca-Cola that introduced this figure to us through their ads in 1931.
