Ensure Cleanliness

It is said that Mother Laxmi loves cleanliness and she resides in the house where there is cleanliness. So, clean the house on the Akshaya Tritiya day thoroughly. Also, keep special attention to purity while worshipping the goddess on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. Wash yourself and wear clean clothes.

Stay Calm And Think Positive

Control your anger and other negative emotions on the day of Akshaya Tritiya to keep Mata Lakshmi happy. Also, do not spread unrest at the time of worship. Mata Lakshmi never stays with anyone who wants to harm others. Therefore, do not spread bad feelings around anyone on this day. Also, if possible, offer donations and food to the poor after worship.

Don’t Touch The Tulsi Plant

Tulsi worship is also done in some places on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. The Basil plant has a special place in Hinduism. According to the scriptures, Tulsi plant is very dear to Lord Vishnu. Therefore, on the day of Akshaya Tritiya, the Tulsi plant should not be touched without bathing.

Avoid Upanayana Sanskaar

If someone is going to be worshiped, then do not do Upanayan Samskar on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. It is considered inauspicious to do this on Akshaya Tritiya. You should not hold Janeu at all for the first time on this day.

Don’t End The Fast That Day

If you have fasted on the day of Akshaya Tritiya, keep in mind that this is an all day fasting. Do not finish the fast in the evening. Rather, finish the fast on the next morning.

No Constructions To Be Done

Although Akshaya Tritiya is considered a very good day, but no constructions should be done on this day because it is considered inauspicious to do so. But you can buy a new house on this day.
