Shloka Mehta And Akash Ambani Are Blessed With A Baby Girl

It is good news for the Ambani family as Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta welcomed a baby girl on May 31, 2023. A few days back, the couple was spotted at the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai with their son, Prithvi, and Mukesh Ambani.

Shloka Mehta’s Second Pregnancy

The Ambani family never officially announced the second pregnancy of Shloka Mehta. However, she was seen flaunting her baby bump during the launch of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre.

A few days later, celebrity saree draper Dolly Jain posted a picture of Mehta cradling her bump. It confirmed the news that the couple was expecting their second child.

According to reports, Akash had a crush on Shloka while they were studying in school. He proposed to her in 12th standard, and the couple disclosed their relationship to their parents.

Akash went abroad to complete his Major in Economics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, USA, while Shloka studied anthropology at Princeton University in New Jersey, USA. She completed her Master in Law at the London School of Economics and Political Science, London.

Shloka joined her father, Russel Mehta, in his company, Rosy Blue Diamonds, as one of the directors on the board. When Akash returned to India, he started as the Chief of Strategy at Reliance Jio Infocomm.

In March 2018, the couple got engaged in a resort in Goa. They tied the knot in March 2019. The couple welcomed their son in 2020.

For the launch, Mehta made an appearance in a golden vintage saree with a heavily embellished blouse. She carried an embroidered dupatta to elevate her style. She opted for an embellished kada, earring, and maang tikka. She came with Akash, who was wearing a green outfit.

For the second day, she made an appearance in a chikankari lehenga paired with a vintage shawl from the house of Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The shawl was draped by Dolly Jain like a blouse. She accessorised it with a stone-studded headband and earrings.
