Delicious Food To Good Music, 'The Weekend' In Noida Is Ideal For A Brunch Date

Noida is a developing IT hub with ample options for dining over the weekdays and weekends. One such place is The Weekend, located on the ground floor of the Garden Galleria Mall.

I went there with a few of my friends to try out their special brunch offer that starts at only ₹1499. However, if you order cocktails, the price of the brunch can go up to ₹2499.

From ordering a three-course meal to a refreshing mocktail, The Weekend seems to be a fun place to spend some quality time with family, friends, and colleagues. They also have live music that truly elevates the experience of dining.

Ambience

The Weekend has pleasant interiors. It has four sections. The first section near the entrance has tables, sofas and chairs set with cutleries and plates.

The second section is opposite the entrance where there are private sections separated by white curtains. The tables in this area are flanked by cot-like furniture. If you are looking to enjoy the company of your partner or just wish to have some private conversations with your family, this is where you can sit.

In the middle ] is a sitting area set on a platform. It provides a good vantage point to observe what goes around the restaurant. If you are interested in live music, this is where you get a decent view of the stage and the band.

At the back of the restaurant is a separate space with green wallpapers, a mirror on the ceiling and bright interiors. It can be the perfect section to organise parties, take your colleagues out or have a brunch date. The only thing that did not work for me was the loud music.

The menu here has many cuisines from which you can order your favourite dishes. Thai to Chinese, you will love the umami flavours in the dishes and the plating that makes them appear alluring to your eyes.

If you are there for brunch, you will find options for both – vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Starter

The list of starters includes Grilled Cottage Cheese, Chicken Sriracha Sauce, Bok Choi with Burnt Garlic and Barbeque Chicken Wings. The marination of barbecued chicken was lip-smacking, and Bok Choi’s toned-down flavours went well with it.

Main Course

The list of vegetarian delicacies under the main course section includes Vegetable Thai Curry (Green), Exotic Vegetable Dim Sum and Fried Rice. Non-vegetarians can opt for Chicken Hong Kong style, Grilled Fish with Exotic Vegetables, Chicken Stroganoff and Fried Rice.

Dim Sums are truly tasty here and served with garlic and red chilli flakes and spinach chutneys. The grilled fish was tender and flavourful. It was served with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes on the side.

Veg Fried Rice came loaded with veggies, and Thai curry had a rich flavour. However, it did not work for me because it was sweeter than expected. It also did not go well with fried rice.

Dessert

For Dessert, we ordered Chocolate Mousse. It came in a glass and felt like heaven on the tongue. The other options included Grapefruit and Strawberry Mousse.

We ordered two mocktails, Virgin Sangria and Blue Lagoon. Among cocktails, the options consisted of Irish Coffee, Spiked Hot Chocolate, Hot Buttered Rum, Hot Toddy, and Maple Old Fashioned.
