When I first heard of Dwarka Social, I wasn't sure if it was worth a visit since I had already visited a Social in Connaught Place. I often came across social media posts hyping the ambience, food of the place and all of it together pushed me to head to Dwarka Social. A meal at Dwarka Social, is it worth it? The Ambience
Dwarka Social is thoughtfully designed, keeping in mind that social distancing is the need of the hour. The entire space is divided into different zones and, all of them are unique in their own way. As you enter, you see booths inspired by the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, promising comfort and distancing at the same time. Further, comfy, cozy spaces are stacked on top of each other, again resembling the pay-and-stay housing structures of Ho Chi Minh city. I loved the way the restaurant has been done. It allows you to enjoy the fun vibe of the place while also giving you some privacy to have a good time with your friends and family.
My Experience
Starters
For the appetisers, I ordered my all-time favourites, chilly paneer, spring rolls, burnt chilli garlic momos, and butter garlic prawns. Chilly paneer, the usual, loaded with flavour, crisp and melting-in-the-mouth at the same time. Spring rolls were served with flavourful Thai chilli sauce topped with sesame seeds, and I must tell you I have never tasted a sauce like this one before. Burnt chilli garlic momos were a hit for me. Creamy momos with a hint of garlic, served with mayonnaise and chilli chutney, a true treat for momo lovers. Lastly, the prawns were super fresh, soft, a delight to relish!
Drinks
For drinks, I got my classic favourite, a sangria. I also wanted to experiment with the drinks so tried pink cream and a ‘pan pasand’ shot, both surprisingly good!

Main Course
Instead of going for a regular meal, I wanted to binge on Social’s much-talked about pizzas. Thin crust, wood-fired pizzas are a staple at most restaurants today and I expected a regular while at Dwarka Social. (Best places serving Italian)However, I was pleasantly surprised bythe pizza's unusual flavour. It tasted smokey, saucy, something I never had before. After a quick chat with Chef Ram Singh, I learnt that the pizza bases here at Dwarka Social were first put into tandoor for the smokiness, then topped with a special sauce, toppings and then baked for the crisp. If you are a pizza buff and wish to taste something out of the box, head to Dwarka Social this weekend.
Dessert
Since I am a chocoholic, I was recommended the chocolate blood bath. It was happiness in a bowl. Loaded with chocolate mousse, whipped cream kisses, chocolate ice cream and brownie bites, this one is a must-try!
Verdict
Like most people, I too fell for the ambience at first. The restaurant is uniquely done, the music is great, you have a live DJ after 9 pm, playing trendy tracks. However, the food is no less, it is delicious, and reasonably priced. Dwarka Social gets a thumbs-up from me!
