Imagine being in a setting where you are offered some traditional delicacies with a tasty twist amidst an aesthetically pleasing ambience and hit Bollywood music. Sounds unrealistic? Well, I experienced it for real recently. Last weekend I was at the newly opened Anardana at DLF Avenue Saket for lunch and here’s my detailed review of the restaurant.
Anardana - Cost For Two
₹1600
Anardana - Location And Timings
Anardana is now open at DLF Avenue Saket, other branches at RK Puram and Karkadooma.
Timings - 12:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Anardana - Food Menu
The menu has everything, right from Delhi’s famous chaat, Raj Kachori to Golgappas to Palak Patta Chaat but all of it comes with a twist. For instance, golgappas are served with a stuffing of quinoa, pomegranate seeds, chilli guava, and jaljeera water. The menu offers treats from North Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines.
Andardana - Music
In sync with the theme of the restaurant, the restaurant’s offerings in terms of music are all-Bollywood. Get ready to listen to some hits from the gold Bollywood collection to the newest hits as you enjoy your treats here.

Anardana - Ambience
The theme is retro, big framed posters of Hindi movie hits from the 80s, and 90s take over the walls, vintage lamps add to the feel, and dim lights just set the right mood.
Anardana - My Experience
As I entered the newly opened Anardana in DLF Avenue Saket, I couldn’t take my eyes off the decor. A double-height wooden chandelier set in the center of the restaurant, walls dotted with peacock-themed lamps and Bollywood posters. I had heard of some of their signature dishes and saw some viral reels on the gram featuring their specialties like the Palak Patta Chaat, and Kulfi Falooda, all served in a unique style, an artistic live plating with the use of Molecular Gastronomy.

I kickstarted with the chaat, and next went for the kebab platter, melt-in-mouth Rajma galouti kebabs, flavourful paneer tikka, edamame seekh kebab, and dahi kebabs. I was kinda full by then but I had to try the main, paneer tikka butter masala. I relished the grilled paneer cubes dunked in a heavy, thick, and tasty gravy with some hot tandoori butter rotis. For dessert, the chef recommended going for Double Ka Meetha, crispy bread soaked in sugar syrup topped with rasmalai and an orange tuile, a true treat!
My Favourite’s At Anardana
- Palak Patta Chaat
- Bhara-Bhara Kebab Veg Platter
- Double Ka Meetha
Verdict
To sum it up, I had a blast at Anardana. The food is great, the pricing apt, and a vintage setting. If you are hunting for a place to head next to for a good meal with family or friends, give Anardana a try, you won’t be disappointed!
