Heart-Shaped Mexican Pizza recipe

Here's the recipe for heart-shaped Mexican pizza by Chef Siyaram Kumar, CDP, Deltin.

Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the toppings:

1/2 cup refried beans

  • 1/2 cup diced cooked chicken (or beans for a vegetarian option)
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Monterey Jack or Cheddar work well)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Salsa, sour cream, and avocado or guacamole for toppings (optional)

Recipe:

  1. Make the crust: In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes until frothy. Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  2. Preheat and shape the crust: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Punch down the dough and shape into a circle or rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick. Place on a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. Spread the toppings: Spread refried beans over the crust, leaving a small border around the edges. Top with chicken (or beans), onion, bell pepper, and jalapeño.
  4. Add cheese and bake: Sprinkle shredded cheese over the toppings. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Finish with fresh toppings: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped cilantro. Add your desired toppings, such as salsa, sour cream, and avocado or guacamole. Use a heart-shaped cutter to optionally cut the pizza.

Mini Heart Poori

Poori is a classic Indian Puffed bread made from whole wheat flour and fried in oil. This Mini Heart Beetroot Poori is a perfect Valentine adaptation by Pradeep Singh, Executive Sous Chef, Deltin.

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium Beet Root (Chopped)
  • Water - as required
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 4 Cups Whole wheat flour
  • 1 Tbsp Rava / Sooji / Semolina
  • Oil - For frying

Recipe:

  1. In a large pan cook the beetroot along with about 1 cup of water until the beetroot is 50% cooked. Let the beetroots cool down completely. Add it to the mixie and grind it to a smooth paste. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the rava, salt and mix well. Add sufficient whole wheat flour and make a tight dough as shown in the picture. I required about 4 cups of flour. You can adjust as needed.
  3. Take a small ball of dough and roll it into a thick sheet. Optionally, use your cutter to cut out heart shapes.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the mini puris until fluffy and crispy.
  5. Serve with your favourite side dish.

Heart-Shaped Pancake

Ingredients:

  • Pancake batter
  • One squeeze bottle with a tip
  • maple syrup, fresh berries, raspberry sauce, whipped cream, honey or any other desired toppings

Recipe:

  1. Fill the squeeze bottle with pancake batter.
  2. On a medium low heat, grease the pan and squeeze the bottle to draw a freeform heart and then fill the shape.
  3. Wait for the pancake to bubble, flip, and cook for 30 to 60 seconds.
  4. Serve with maple syrup, fresh berries, raspberry sauce, whipped cream, honey or any other desired toppings.

Rose And Raspberry Mousse

Ingredients:
  • 180 gm egg white
  • 155 gm sugar
  • 40 gm banana puree
  • 140 gm strawberry puree
  • 5 Ml rase essence
  • 100 gm almond flour
  • 100 gm icing sugar
  • 60 gm flour
  • 140 Ml whole milk
  • 10 gm glucose
  • 7 gm gelatine
  • 250 gmwhite chocolate
  • 270 gm fresh cream
Recipe:
  1. Take a one pot put egg white and sugar to whip to meringue
  2. After that mix banana puree, strawberry puree, rose essence then mixed slowly slowly with almond flour and icing sugar, flour
  3. Then after take a one tray then put all better to tray then baked 170 c. degree c to 15 minutes
  4. Take a one pot and put in slow gas then add whole milk, glucose and fresh cream after cooking mixed the white chocolate and gelatine.
  5. Then after, keep on the chiller to rest.

Red Velvet Brownie

  • 20 pcs egg
  • 1600 gm sugar
  • 1000 gm white chocolate
  • 1200 gm butter
  • 800 gm flour
  • 250 gm almond powder
  • 40 gm cocoa powder
  • 10 gm red colour

Recipe:

  1. Take a one pot then add egg and sugar mixed after that melted white chocolate and butter mixed.
  2. Then after mixed flour, almond powder, cocoa powder and red color mixed
  3. Then after put the better in a tray then cook an oven 175 C degree 30 minutes
  4. After getting cold, cut and serve.
