Maharashtrian-style Sabudana Khichdi Recipe For Fasting Or Vrat
Ingredients
- 1 Cup washed and drained sabudana
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- ¾ cup boiled and peeled potato pieces
- ⅓ cup roasted peanuts (powdered)
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
- 2 tsp chopped green chillies
- 5-6 curry leaves
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp sugar
- Salt to taste
Sabudana Khichdi Recipe
- Start with combining the sabudana and ¾ cup water in a bowl, and keep aside to soak for 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan and add cumin seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add potatoes, sabudana, salt, peanuts, coriander, green chillies, curry leaves, lemon juice and sugar. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
