Nachni Or Ragi Roti Recipe Card

Ingredients

  • Ragi or Nachni flour 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp oil

Step

  1. Step 1:

    Heat 2 cups water in a non-stick.

  2. Step 2:

    Add oil and oil and bring to a boil.

  3. Step 3:

    Reduce heat and then add in the flour and mix well.

  4. Step 4:

    Switch off heat, mix, cover and keep it for 10-15 minutes to cool down to room temperature.

  5. Step 5:

    Apply oil on the worktop and place the dough on it and knead well.

  6. Step 6:

    Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into pedas like we do for any other roti.

  7. Step 7:

    Dust the pedas with some flour and roll out into rotis.

  8. Step 8:

    Heat a tawa and place the rotis one by one, and roast for 2-3 minutes on each side.

  9. Step 9:

    Place the rotis on direct flame and let them puff.

  10. Step 10:

    Serve them hot.
