Paneer Bhurji Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of mashed paneer
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes
  • ½ tsp pav bhaji masala
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp chopped green chillies
  • 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  • Salt to taste

Paneer Bhurji Recipe Step By Step

  1. To begin with, heat oil in a tava and add cumin seeds.
  2. Once seeds begin to crackle, add onions and saute on a high flame for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Now add tomatoes, and 2 tbsp of water, mix well and cook on a slow flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  4. Add the pav bhaji masala, turmeric powder, chilli powder, green chillies and 1 tbsp of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  5. Add the paneer, salt, coriander and 1 tbsp of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally. Serve the paneer bhurji hot.
