Ingredients

  • 8 peeled onions
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 1/2 mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp urad dal
  • 2 1/2 vegetabels oil
  • red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp imli

Step

  • Step 1 :

    Take medium sized onions, peel and chop. Keep aside.

  • Step 2 :

    In a pan, add oil and saute onions.

  • Step 3 :

    Next add onions, tamarind, salt and red chilli powder. Mix well and let it cool.

  • Step 4 :

    In a grinder, add the mix. Add some water to prepare a thick paste.

  • Step 5 :

    Now fry some mustard seeds and urad dal. Pour over the chutney.
