Ingredients

  • 1 cup of soaked oats
  • ½ cup semolina (sooji)
  • ½ cup sour curd
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 2 teaspoons ginger paste
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • salt to taste
  • ½ chopped onion
  • capsicum
  • tomato
  • 1 chopped green chilli.

Step

  • Step 1 :

    In a bowl mix oats and sooji for 20 minutes.

  • Step 2 :

    Then filter the water and add salt, black pepper, and ginger paste. Mix it all well.

  • Step 3 :

    Add sour yogurt, and all the chopped vegetables, onion, chilli, tomato, and capsicum to the mixture.

  • Step 4 :

    Add 2-3 tablespoons of water and stir to combine and make a thick batter.

  • Step 5 :

    Place a tawa on the stove, let it heat and then grease it with cooking oil.

  • Step 6 :

    Pour a ladleful of batter and spread it evenly, using a spatula.

  • Step 7 :

    Drizzle a little bit more oil around the edges and on top.

  • Step 8 :

    Let it cook on medium heat until the bottom turns light brown in colour.

  • Step 9 :

    Once cooked flip it and let it cook the other side.

  • Step 10 :

    Remove it from the pan and serve with chutney.
