On the occasion of Eid, what’s cooking at your party? This delicious recipe for mutton chapli kebabs will flood you with compliments!

How To Make Chapli Kebabs -

  • Mince the mutton and add salt & pepper according to your taste buds. 
  • Throw in chopped onions, tomatoes, and coriander seeds to your minced meat. 
  • Check the salt and pepper ratio in your mixture. Add more if required. 
  • Take some of the mixture in your palms and shape it into a flat rounded tikki-like shape. 
  • Meanwhile, heat a pan on the side with some cooking oil. Allow your kebabs to cook when the pan turns hot. 
  • Cook both sides for 2-3 minutes until it turns brown.
  • You can add tomatoes to the side of your kebabs as it will add a tinge to your meal. 
  • Serve your chapli kebab with raita, naan, or simply as it is with green chutney.

  • 1 Kg mutton (with fat)
  • 80 gms onions
  • 80 gms tomatoes finely chopped
  • 80 gms tomato (peeled and deseeded)
  • Black pepper
  • 10 gms coriander seeds
  • Salt
  • Cooking oil
