Navratri is a joyous festival that is incomplete without delicious food. However, when you are fasting, you might run out of dishes to cook. Therefore, we bring you a healthy recipe of Kuttu ka Dosa recipe that you can relish during fasting.

Buckwheat has several health benefits. It consists of antioxidants, fibre and magnesium that make the dosa a wholesome meal packed with nourishment. It is gut-friendly and helps with indigestion issues.

Method Of Preparation Kuttu Dosa

For Filling

  • Add a tablespoon of ghee to a pan (medium heat).
  • Add cumin seeds, chopped green chillies, curry leaves and roasted peanuts.
  • Add two mashed boiled potatoes.
  • Add rock salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves and mango powder.
  • Mix everything well, and the filling is ready.
  • You can add it to the dosa or serve it on the side.

For Kuttu ka Dosa

  • Take buckwheat flour (kuttu ka atta) in a bowl.
  • Add rock salt to taste and keep adding water in a small amount to prepare a mixture. Keep stirring the mixture to ensure that there are no lumps.
  • Keep the pan on medium flame.
  • Sprinkle some water on it to reduce the temperature and lower the flame.
  • Add a spoonful of kuttu batter to the pan and spread it on the surface in circular motions.
  • Keep on increasing the flame slowly.
  • Grease the dosa gently with ghee or olive oil.
  • Put the filling on the dosa.
  • Once it turns brown on the other side, take it out on the plate.
  • Serve it with your favourite chutney.
