This is a perfect recipe for lunch or dinner and can be paired with chilled curd and pickle.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl and make a batter for a roti, kneading it well. Once you see the moisture releasing, the flour will begin to bind. If need be add a few drops of water. Add little oil in the end. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
Make 4 equal sized balls and then squish them into pedas.
Begin rolling the thick parathas and then heat the pan.
Once the pan is hot enough, transfer theparatha on it and once tiny bubbles rise, flip the side. Smear ghee if need be.
Once the paranthas are toasted on both sides, place on a tissue to keep them soft.
Serve with raita or chutney.
