Idli manchurian is a simple fusion that you can enjoy with your family and friends during snack time.
Soak urad dal, par-boiled rice, and thick beaten rice in water for 2 hours.
Drain the water and blend it all together in a thick paste. Cover the batter with a lid and keep aside to ferment in a warm place for 7-8 hours.
Pour the batter in steamer and steam idli for 10 to 12 minutes or until they are cooked.
Once done, slice each idli into 4 equal parts.
Heat a wok, add oil and fry your idli pieces on low flame.
In a bowl, add half a cup of water and mix cornflour, tomato ketchup, vinegar, and soya sauce in it and mix well.
In the same wok, add more oil and heat it.
Add chopped green chillies, ginger-garlic paste and sauté.
Add your veggies and sauté for a while.
Add the prepared sauce mixture. When it starts boiling add idli slices.
Cook idli for another 5-7 minutes until it becomes a bit dry.
Once done, serve hot in a bowl.
