How To Make Momos Dough?
You Will Need -
- All Purpose Flour
- Salt
- Water
Method:
- In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt and water as per the requirement.
- Knead the dough together. Make sure the dough is not too soft, too sticky or too stiff.
- Once done, cover the dough with a cloth.
- Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes.

By the time the dough is getting ready, you can prepare the filling for your delicious kurkure momos.
You can choose the stuffing of your choice for the filling. Some common stuffing used for the vegetable momos filling includes:
- Cabbage
- Carrot
- Onion
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Green Chillies
Method:
- Heat a pan and add some oil.
- Now, fry the chopped garlic, cabbage, onion, capsicum and carrot together in it.
- Saute for a while and keep the flame on medium.
- When the vegetables look semi cooked, season them with black pepper, vinegar, and soy sauce.
- Switch off the flame and let the filling cool down.
Mistakes To Avoid While Making Kurkure Momos
- While preparing stuffing, don't cook it for too long or the veggies will loose their crunch.
- Don't overfill the momos with stuffing. If you do, your momos may break.
How To Make Kurkure Momos At Home?

Ingredients Required:
- 3 cups all purpose flour (maida)
- 1 carrot finely chopped
- 1 capsicum finely chopped
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1/2 small cabbage finely chopped
- 6 diced pods of garlic
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp soya sauce
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- salt to taste
- 3 tbsp cornflour
- 1-2 cups of cornflakes
- 1 cup oil (for frying)
Directions -
- Mix all-purpose flour, salt, and water in a mixing bowl. Knead them together to form a dough.
- Set the dough aside and prepare the filing separately.
- In a pan, fry the chopped garlic, cabbage, onion and carrot together.
- Once done, sprinkle black pepper, vinegar and soya sauce on it.
- Now take the dough and make small balls from it.
- Roll out little circles with a rolling pin to form the outer covering layer of momos.
- Now add 1-2 tablespoons of the prepared mixture to them and fold it in any shape you want.
- In a separate bowl, add 3 tbsp of cornflour and water to it. Mix them together to form a paste.
- Now dip all of your momos in the slurry and cover them properly.
- In a dish, crush the cornflakes and roll the momos in them. Make sure the momos are fully covered in crumbled corn flakes.
- Finally, in a pan, heat the oil and fry the momos till golden brown.
- Serve them hot, with mayonnaise or momos chutney on the side.
